FIRST-EVER DJ WORKSHOP FOR THE DEAF IN THE U.K. SCHEDULED FOR 2022
Nearly two decades after Deaf Rave was founded in 2003, the organization will be introducing its first-ever DJ workshop in 2022.
Founded by Troi Lee, Deaf Rave is Europe's first and only events organization dedicated to providing rave experiences to the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Over the years, the U.K. organization has brought together artists, sign language rappers, dancers, and more for their beloved semi-annual events.
Now, Deaf Rave is ensuring aspiring artists from the deaf community have the opportunity to pick up the art of DJing with new beginner's workshops that will be based in London.
Dance music fans from the deaf community primarily engage with the medium by way of touch. Feeling the reverberations of the sounds emitting from the stage monitors allows them to experience raving.
More recently, developments such as the SUBPAC, a wearable audio system that augments the impact of the music in tactile fashion, have succeeded in driving an increased interest in raving within the deaf community, according to We Are Europe.

Bassnectar’s destination festival Deja Voom just kicked off its debut year in Riviera Maya, Mexico, this weekend. The “first ever tropical family vacation”, is headlined by Bassnectar himself, and features performances by REZZ, The Glitch Mob, Mala & Coki (Digital Mystikz) and many more.

Many thought Chechik wasn’t being serious, yet the following video surfaced, showing a girl that could be the adult film star giving a blowjob in the middle of the crowd. While one couldn’t assert this is Chechik with certainty, she responded to a tweet and may have confirmed that she is the woman in the video.

After the festival's staggering Phase 1 reveal just a few weeks ago, Ultra has now announced a plethora of additional artists for its long-awaited return to Miami in 2022.
Headlining Ultra Music Festival 2022 will be Adam Beyer, Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Jauz b2b NGHTMRE, Joseph Capriati, Sasha / John Digweed, Seven Lions, Tiësto, and Vintage Culture b2b Claptone. They join Martin Garrix, Kygo, DJ Snake, David Guetta, and a litany of other dance music superstars announced as part of Phase 1.
When Ultra organizers shared the first wave of artists last month, they announced a special Sunday closing performance from "one of the most iconic artists in electronic music history." Despite today's reveal of over 80 acts, mum's still the word on the elusive artist's identity.
However, no one's name has been thrown around in EDM circles more than Hardwell's. And considering the notion that his iconic 2013 Ultra set is synonymous with the mythos of the festival, there's a good chance he's coming out of retirement for its momentous return next year. The Dutch electronic music icon, who retired from touring in 2018, recently teased a resurgence at this year's Amsterdam Dance Event.

PIONEER DJ RELEASES NEW XDJ-RX3
Just in time for the holidays, AlphaTheta Corporation announced the release of the new XDJ-RX3 DJ system from its brand Pioneer.
The new system offers a 10.1-inch touch screen, higher resolution 1280:800 (WXGA), and increased frame rate. The system also upgraded how many songs are displayed from 8 to 12, allowing you to find your next track more efficiently. In addition to these features there is a new countdown timer, enabling you to keep track of certain points in your set. There is a Color On Jog Display, which you can customize to show artwork or track information on the screen in the middle of each jog wheel, which you can also adapt to the weight you desire by using the Feeling Adjust dial for each one.
This easy to use set up is also portable so it’ll be easy for you to take with you to your gigs, parties, or even just use at home to practice on. It’ll fit well in any small venue and allows you to connect to laptops or USB drives making it easy for various DJs through the night to use. You’ll also be able to use it to mix with Serato DJ Pro in early 2022. It is priced at $1999 and will be shipped in early December.

NYC SEES NEW NIGHTCLUB NEBULA OPEN IN TIMES SQUARE!
One of the largest night clubs in NYC’s history opened just a few weeks ago. Nebula has three levels which include a lower level that houses three private club rooms, as well as a mezzanine level. It is 11,000 square feet total with 5,500 of that being dance floor space. It was able to host 700 people during its opening which is one of the highest capacity clubs in the city.
Nebula will be able to completely transform offering different vibes depending on the event. For its opening parties DJs Camelphat, Purple Disco Machine, and Malaa were on the lineup playing a mixture of house, funk, and soul.
Recent bookings included Dennis Ferrer, Vintage Culture, Zedd, Zhu and Bassjackers. Upcoming djs include Steve Aoki, MK and Guy Gerber.
NYC was one of the first states to reopen their nightlife earlier this year. At first they could only allow 33% capacity but have been raising it ever since and are now fully operational.
